    Projector display issue

Just got my sim setup and it works however roughly every 2-3 minutes the project disconnects and I get a msg searching for display. It reconnects and then works again but repeats this. I have read his could be a bad cable. Cable is new but I know that doesn't mean its still good. Just wondering if anyone else has encounter same issue. I have a 20' USB to Display port cable.

PC is a new build with a RTX 2060Ti GPU. i5 processor, 16GB Ram
    Projector is Benq TK700STi

I have tried dropping from 4k down 1080 but still same issue.

I may try a shorter USB cable just to see...but its not easy to do with a ceiling mount.

This happened to me with the same projector. I reduced the length of my HDMI (50 feet to 25 feet) and made the connection direct (rather than via my AV receiver). It now works perfectly.

Did you have an HDMI to Display Port cable or HDMI to HDMI? My cable is 20' and not sure I can get it much less...might be able to get closer to 15 if I don't have any slack. I've ordered another 20' HDMI to test it out.
