Projector position 10 feet wide offset hitting area with left & right handed players

I need some advice on where to place the projector in my setup, my dimensions are 10ft wide, 10ft high and 16.4ft long.

Based on my width, I will be hitting offset from the centre of the room and I need to cater for both left and right handed players.

Ideally I don't want the projector on the floor and my original plan was to have the projector at the very back of the room in the middle, until I realised that this would likely cause shadows on the screen.

Due to having left and right handed players (hitting offset from the centre) I can't place it directly above the hitting area because the hitting area will change depending on if it is a left or right handed player. I also know one of my friends has quite a steep swing with his driver.

Any suggestions as the best option, could it be placed right at the back of the room but offset to the side with keystone correction or would this likely still cause shadows, or possibly could it be above the hitting area but right up against the right hand side wall hopefully out the way of the swing of the left handed player?

Or are there any better options, are there people with a similar setup that can give me some suggestions?

You may be able to mount much further to the left or right (as in off the side wall) and just get a projector with enough horizontal offset / keystone correction to avoid to trapezoidal of an image being projected.

I get not wanting it on the floor but this really may well be your best option. With the offset hitting you should not be impacted too much by the projector cover. My two cents.

Agree with jasonreg. Center on the floor is the perfect place. We ran ours that way for 1 full winter season, no issues. The first time someone hits they'll notice it, but after a few swings, and they realize the clubhead doesn't even get close to the projector, all is well. That positioning would also allow a wider choice of projectors since all you are having to adjust is vertical offset, which almost all projectors have the ability to do. Put a box on the floor where the projector would be and swing a few times, rightie & leftie, you'll notice that even a terrible out to in swing path doesn't put anything in jeopardy.
