My backyard sim setup has recently been relocated due to the addtion of a backyard playset for the kids. The issue with the new spot is that the ground slopes a pretty good amount. my setup uses a Mevo+ so I'm looking to get 8 feet of space on either side of the hitting area. Pics below for reference:

Note that this is not the exact location of the setup but just a quick setup so I could take a picture so don't worry about space concerns to the left or right of the hitting area. Currently I use the board to create a flat area between the mat and Mevo+, its just about the perfect length for the spacing as well. In the pictures shown, the end of the board where the simulator would sit is far above the mat to the point where getting an accurate read would be impossible. I've narrowed down 2 options to fix this but am open to others:
1. Build out a leveled 'flowerbed' type box that accomodates the slope. This would raise the height where the mat is and keep the area where the simulator sits the same.
2. dig out the sloped area to be level with the mat and lay pavers or something similar from the simulator to the mat and under the mat. This would leave the mat at the same elevation and lower the area where the simulator sits. I amm
This is not a high traffic area for anyone, so building out a level area that is different from the rest of the yard is not a huge concern. The slope is enough that leveling the yard would still not fix it completely. Looking for any advice or ideas on the best way to do this
