Padding for Enclosure made with 1" metal conduit?

I've had a DIY Carl's Place Enclosure for the last 2.5 years. It is made with 1" conduit. I have been using foam pipe insulation to cover it to deter the ball bouncing back so quickly on bad shots. It doesn't really do much to help. I remember there was conversation about people using gutter foam years back. Are there any good solutions these days?

Are you talking about the conduit in the corners or the front vertical and horizontal conduit? I have one of their DIIY enclosures too, and ultimately ponied up for their precut memory foam pieces. I suppose you could DIY something similar by ordering and cutting memory foam blocks.

I ordered a 4" memory foam mattress and DIY'd long foam wedges. There's still some pretty decent bounce off it depending on how/where/how hard you hit it, but an electric carving knife makes short work of the cutting... Though a track saw does it quicker and more accurately, I know a track saw isn't in most DIYers toolboxes, though.
