Garage simulator build advice

Here's my current setup. I haven't hit any balls into it yet.

Some notes:

• Plan to use Garmin R10
• Screen is 10.5x8
• Projector is going to be ceiling mounted
• Ignore the two brackets hanging from the joists. They're from an old ceiling mounted storage rack that I haven't removed yet.
• Left side of screen and netting is zip tied to a 10' conduit placed in a weighted umbrella stand. This will be held down with sand bags.
• Plan to add some additional padding under the turf near the screen to deaden balls as they drop

Some questions/thoughts:

• Should I lower the screen to reach the floor and instead hang that netting to fill the gap at the top?Impact screen is currently tight to the ceiling joists and is about 16" short of the floor. I've hung a net to fill this gap that is zip tied to a 10' conduit to weigh it down.
• How can I further protect the window/wall on the right side? I currently have hung overlapping grommeted moving blankets from Harbor Freight, but I'm not sure this is enough. I'm a righty, so my miss is going in that direction.
• How can I protect the area under the moving blankets?
• How should I protect the ceiling/joists above?
• Do I need to pad any of the conduit I have around the screen?

How close are you going to position the ball (tee position) to the screen? Closer to screen, less likely other stuff gets hit.

Regardless, I suggest the following:

• Screen should touch floor. More realistic for putting, etc. Need to stop low screamers.
• Depending on hand of golfer, need to protect ball side wall. Thus, right handed - protect right wall from shanks, etc. They happen. Especially of mats.
• Conduit - absolutely wrap with padding or better yet, material (baffle, wedge foam) to deflect ball in different direction. You don't have to search hard on this forum to find people who have taken deflections to the head. Very dangerous.
• Ball position from screen will dictate whether the ceiling is accessible by wedge. Seach ceiling baffles on this forum.

Lastly - PLEASE assume anything can and will be hit with a golf ball eventually.
