    Small Step in Garage for Simulator

    Hi,

    I am currently building my home and hoping to build a simulator in my garage. My garage dimensions are 20x20x10 ft. The only issue I am having is there is a small step at the back of my garage off around 3ft from the wall. If I have my enclosure up against the wall, I am afraid when I hit this shots, it will hit the step directly. Any ideas on how to build the simulator with this step? Also thought about placing it on the side wall, but again the step will make the screen uneven.

      My sim is in my garage (also 20x20x10) and I hit in the direction of the overhead garage door. My Hot Dawg heater and cement steps to the house kept me from installing an impact screen on the back wall of the garage, I ended up getting 10x16 retractable screen from GungHo Golf. Love the set up!

          Do you mind me asking how much it costed? And do they come install it for you or just provide you with the tools and material?

            $3,400 in February 2022 for 16 ft. retractable impact screen with 4.5 ft. retractable black side curtains. Price included shipping, mounting hardware and premium Eagle Screen. I did the labor/installation.

                Put the screen just left of the step and have the right side of the enlcosure protect the step. What is length from door to the step? Keep in mind that is you install a door opener, it probably will affect your swing area.might ant to do a side mount door opener

                        I'm installing mine towards the garage door too. I looked at METech and had really good pricing on retractable units. Check them out. They were really helpful through email.
                        For budget reasons, I went self-roll up, but the powered units are pretty sweet.
