Final Construction with pics

Hi all, I thought I'd share my new sim since it's finally done! Here's a summary of the parts:
Uneekor Mini
BenQ TK700STI 4K projector
Dell Alienware Aurora R13 computer with GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card
Bullseye golf premium screen 8'x14'. Added velcro-attached angled foam to protect the wood frame - also from Bullseye
NP45 Synthetic putting turf with bullseye hitting insert
1" foam tile underlay
1' x 1' foam tiles from Amazon for the walls and ceiling
Golf net from networld sports for the left side netting
I had a window on the right side of the room so I put in a barn door slider for a double width door and just built the sliders with plywood covered with foam tiles so that I can still open it to get air in there so it doesn't freeze up during cold Canadian winters
I used a heavy felt curtain I bought from Ikea hanging as a baffle on the ceiling
I also have a heavy speaker grille over a furnace vent in the ceiling that I moved left so it shouldn't get hit by right handed golfers
Standard Beer Fridge for obvious reasons!

The whole thing is wide enough for both righties and lefties and the hitting strip is centered but I didn't want to spend thousands more on a ceiling mounded unit just so I can invite lefties over. I also didn't want to go Mevo+. I had it before and wanted something a little better for putting and short chips.

My house is a new build and I had them build the basement with a 9'6" ceiling so this is in my basement. My screen is 12" from the back wall and my hitting area is about 9' back from there. Total green space is about 15' wide by 12' deep. Hit me up if you have any questions!

I'm working on my build and it's very close to this. A couple of questions... did you use bungee for the bottom of the screen? I don't see where the projector is in this, can you share where it was mounted and how do you like the projector?

Hi, yes I did use bungees on the bottom as well (all four sides). I put a few small spacers below the bottom 2x4 as well as on the side 2x4 to give room to slip the bungees below/beside them. It's all relatively tight right now. The ball comes back off the screen and rolls a few feet behind the hitting area. No concern about a dangerous bounce back...but I do expect that the rollback will reduce over time as the screen stretches.

For the projector, I went on projector central and figured out the mounting location using the calculator there. I think it's 13'4" if I remember correctly. The projector and picture quality is all spectacular!

Note that in one pic I show the screen hanging loose. It's backwards. The velcro should have been pointing out...not backwards. I swapped it right away but didn't take a new pic.

Nice build you have in the works.

FYI: I just completed my 13' x 9' garage setup and went with the NP45 turf as well ( 15' x 10' ) and really like the product -> I went with the black colour for some starker contrast. I have mine directly on my garage's concrete floor and it is excellent at limiting ball-bounce off the screen -> no need for any under-padding. I also went with their EZ-Tee hitting mat ( 6' x 7' ) , also sitting directly on my concrete floor, and it is good at absorbing fat shots, and also holds a tee really well. PJ is Optoma UHD35STX , LM is GC3 , and a new screen is on order
