I've got a 3' x 20' putting setup, using NP50 artificial turf (a.k.a Money Putt). My sim room/office gets some light traffic through it with the kids and pets. So, the turf attracts a little dirt and grass. I'll generally just brush it off. But was curious if anyone vacuum's their turf. Mine is also easily mobile, so I can also bring it outside and hose it off. Really just curious whether vacuuming is OK or no bueno. Would also be happy to hear any other tips/input. Thanks!
How do you care for your artificial putting turf?

Cool. When you vacuum, do you use it with the beater brush (I think that's what it's called) on. Or just suction and no brush?Originally posted by calvind View PostI vacuum mine. One thing I notice is that it's best to vacuum side to side. The vacuum "grabs" if I do it front to back. Obviously that's just for the orientation I have mine installed

I cleaned up my sim room today. Went ahead and tried vacuuming my putting strip. Don't know why I was a little apprehensive to do so, but it turned out fine.
I tested it with my stimpmeter after vacuuming. It did roll slightly slower than it did prior to vacuuming.(10.5 pre vs. 10.2 post). However the ball seems to roll more "pure". It already rolled great, but it seems even better now. Or maybe it's just in my head.
Short story, if you're here because you're wondering the same, I'd vote it's fine to vacuum your putting turf.
