Track Lighting Placement for High Speed Cameras

I have (2) cameras, 1 for face on and 1 for down-the-line. I purchased track lighting but am not sure exactly where to place it above the hitting area. My concern is that there will be shadows for the down the line view. Do you install the track lighting slightly forward, and then tilt the lights slightly back towards the hitting zone? If so, will this provide enough light behind me?

I read all of the other posts, but can't seem to find an answer on this. Maybe because it just works fine as long as they are somewhere above the hitting area? Thanks in advance!

I installed an 18,000 Lumen LED light, a little different from your track light. I tried it first above the ball, but had too many shadows in the Face On view. I moved it about 4' away from the ball position, almost over the Front View Camera, and it seems to be OK there. If you have a tall step ladder, you might try temporarily attaching the light to the top of the ladder, and then moving it around to see your results. This may still cause shadows on your rear view, so maybe a diagonal placement, like a 45 degree angling back toward the rear camera, will allow some of the light to hit for the rear view. I'm just guessing. Hopefully others with track lighting will speak up..

Thanks for the reply! I have 5 of the Satco 3,000 Lumen LED lights as I followed the advice from Gung Ho Golf. I suppose I could rig something up temporarily to see what shadows I get. I wonder if anyone else knows what is the recommended placement??

I’ve found that 3 lights positioned as follows works well.

Are we using ProTee play with in-floor sensors? The pic does seem to show sensors.
If you use the putting sensors the setup is more critical. The light circles cannot overlap I was shown a trick setup from support using an iPhone. The tighter the circle over the sensors the better.
I always wondered why in pics you cannot see a nice circle of light, If use the camera in an iPhone it will isolate the circles like magic.
It is almost impossible to avoid shadows, the darker the room the greater the shadows, I have played with ambient lighting to reduce shadows in order to avoid shadow ball strikes.
