Do I need more space

I'm looking to build a commercial golf studio and want to make sure the space I'm getting is big enough.

It's 2,870 sq.ft. and I'm planning on putting in 4 bays at ~23 x 15 to accomodate couches, seating, etc to fit 6-8 people comfortably. The 4 bays will take up about 1500 sq ft, and I'll be alloting the rest of the space for a bar, locker room/restrooms and general open area for maybe pool table, putting green, etc.

Do you think the 2,870 is too small?

23 x 15 probably won't be enough room to fit that many people and their bags. Also, 15' is not very wide especially when you take practice swings inside of where the ball is placed. I'd suggest going around your area if there are any other facilities and check out their space and see how it feels. You can try the width yourself. Set a ball at 7.5" off a wall then go ahead and take a practice swing inside the ball yourself and see what that feels like. Also, keep in mind you are now trying to accommodate every possible swing type out there as a commercial facility.

15 feet is not wide enough for commercial usage.

I agree you are going to need 18' to accommodate the crazy swings, and keep in mind you are selling them alcohol so it may get ugly.
