Removing lens on elp or kayeton cameras

Does anyone know if it’s possible to remove the lens from those elp style board cameras without further modification? The idea being that I like to remove the lens and fit it into a metal enclosure that some models are supplied with and therefore make use of the cs mount zoom lens. Attached is an illustration to help make my point. Thanks
