Hi I just did my screen over a bit and I have a bit too much bounce back. Before my screen was loose on the bottom and padding behind was loose and it looked bad. Now I have and sand tube for weight on bottom and padding is less loose. Looks so much better but more bounce back. I don’t have much room behind screen but that space is filled with two foam mattress toppers over foam gym tiles. I have bungees on the sides. Might try and loosen the bungees first and if that does not work then either add another mattress topper or create more space although that would be the most work. Any thoughts, help and advice greatly appreciated. Thanks

Are you hanging anything on/behind the screen itself with tarp clips? Behind my screen I initially hung a sheet, netting, and a moving blanket via tarp clips. The screen is within 6 inches from the wall behind it, so I also stapled memory foam mattress pieces to the wall. I still had rebound issues until I clipped a second moving blanket hanging against the one that is already there. This made a huge difference in deadening any rebound from balls hit into the screen. i.e., putting anything on the wall behind the screen protects the wall, while draping nets, blankets, etc against the screen allows some of the energy to be absorbed by the movement of those hanging materials

RatherBeGolfing I only have the tarp clips bungeed on the sign to hold the screen "in place" and to hold the right side screen. I do not have a net or blanket behind the screen. My screen is probably about 6" from the wall. Most of that six inches is made up of the two mattress pads and the foam gym tiles. I could try a blanket behind that is easy

I think it is a momentum problem. Heavy blankets are more difficult to move by the flying ball. But of course, you can’t put steel there either just because it is heavy. Heavy and movable. I have 1” of open air behind the screen then the screen hits hanging memory foam mattresses, which definitely swing. Hanging the mattresses required pinching the mattress between two flat boards and clamping them with through bolts/nuts; like a 6’ chip clip at the top of the mattress, then the ‘clip’ hanging from the ceiling so it can recoil/swing.
