    New simulator build

    Hi community!
I'm planning on getting a golf simulator.
I'm currently building a garden house for it.
I'm planning on mounting a ceiling launch monitor. But I'm not sure which one I should buy. Either Uneekor EYE XO2or foresight falcon.
Uneekor is cheaper and comes with the performance optix package, but I don't like the system with the annual fee for the 3rd party interface at all.
I think it's a really bad idea to charge a subscription fee for it - and yes, I know that this also includes software. However, if you want to use GSPRO, I alwayshave to pay the uneekor fee. Otherwise, I would definitely go with uneekor. So the falcon has become an interesting alternative. Because of my place, which I can only build to a maximum of 4.5 m wide (internal dimensions), I prefer a large hitting area (so eyexo2 or falcon).
    Regarding the Projector:
I'd like to consider the Benq LK 954. Do any of you use it? Or is the Benq LK936 the better choice? What are your opinions?
    Thank you all!

The one thing I would say is that you can control most of the cost of your project except for the launch monitor. You have to decide what features you want and then try to minimize the cost of the unit. I started my simulator room with a Skytrak and while I love having it, the lack of real club data is kind of disappointing. Beyond the launch monitor, you can spend a little or alot on a projector. The darkness of the room has alot to do with how the image looks. I have an Optoma Short Throw projector which is a must, in my opinion. The project is mounted on an arm and hangs just about straight above where I hit from. The picture fills the screen becuase my mounting arm is adjustable. My projector does not have a zoom feature which is why is was a little cheaper. Now if cost is no issue, get the stuff you want!

Have a look at the Protee VX. I have one and love it. It's half the cost of some of the options you mentioned without the subscription bullshit.
