Hi has anyone used the heavydutytarps.ca HD screen?
13.9 oz HD Golf Mesh 3-Ply
I currently have the 11.9 oz sawdust mesh and it’s good but looking for something that will project a better image without breaking the bank.

Try Bullseye Golf. I just got one of their screens this summer and it is better than the Carls HD I had previously. Cheaper too.

I bought the White HD Golf Mesh Tarp from HeavyDutyTarps.ca -- I've been happy with it for image quality and durability.
It does have some dents from ball impacts - but really only noticeable in the light of day.

tntfox Keen to understand—what makes the Bullseye screen better than Carl's HD in your experience? Is it image quality, durability, or something else?

I'm going to say that it feels more substantial than the Carls and it does not dimple the way the Carls screen did. In addition, I saw "pilling" in the impact area of the Carls screen within a week of hanging it. There was clearly wear of the fabric very early. As for the clarity of the projected image, I would say the screens are very similar - both very good. Honestly, I have not used the projector as much since I have a nice 55 inch monitor on the back wall and I hit alot of balls during the day when the lighting is not as good for the projector.

Sorry to post on something an old thread, but am wondering if you ended up buying the 13.9 oz HD Golf Mesh 3-Ply from Heavy Duty Tarps. I'm also considering that one. I'm in Canada and hoping to find a screen that ships from within Canada. Like you, I'm looking to replace my screen, which is their 11.9 oz Sawdust Mesh.

Hi all, I ended up buying the HD Golf Mesh 3-Ply. Installed it last night... boy was that easy, since Heavy Duty Tarps customized it to the same specs as the Sawdust Mesh I bought from them 5 years ago. Anyhow, the clarity/contrast on the HD Golf Mesh 3-Ply is outstanding in comparison. With the Sawdust Mesh, I had to buy and hang bed sheets behind it. It helped, but wasn't ideal, as the bed sheets never stayed perfectly wrinkle-free and tight to the Sawdust Mesh. No need for that with the HD Golf Mesh 3-Ply. Extremely happy with my puchase.
