Help with building a retractable screen simulator

I am new to the forum and looking for help to build out a retractable screen simulator in my garage. The space is 12' (W) x 18' (D) x 9.5' (H), but I will be using the area to park cars as well and need to be able to get the sim out of the way.

Based on the posts it looks like my options are Metech, Gungho Golf or Par2Pro Stealth Elite. Ideally, the setup would have at least 8' side panels, since my son & friends will be using the sim as well. It looks like Metech will be the most cost effective but I have a few questions:
1. What impact screen should I use? Par2Pro SQ-W or Gungho Eagle. How difficult is it to use a different manufacturers screen with Metech roller.
2. Do I need a backstop to help with bounce back?
3. How do I protect the ceiling?
4. How do i protect the motors, bottom of the impact screen & edges where the screens meet?

I own a sim business and have helped many people here. I sell a few retractable screen options, and can add side protection, ceiling protection, roller protection, etc. I sell Sportscreen (Par2pro gets from Sportscreen), MEtechs (with their screen or custom screen from somewhere else), and Gtrak. The backstop isn't needed but is a nice to have. That's where Sportscreen is nice because that's all part of their setup.

I also sell everything else you need for your golf sim.

I got a regular Sportscreen for hockey and attached my impact screen to it. It works great and was cheap.

I went with the SportScreen retractable screen from Par2Pro.

I have the metech roller and birdie screen from gunghogolf. I added the velcro option when I ordered the screen and it was very easy to attach it to the roller.

Hi - so can you give any feedback on the Vanish system? Did you have to make any major modifications? How easy is the set-up and put away?
