Second simulator - best one yet!

This is my second sim. I got divorced and lost my other beautiful sim (posted about it my first build here). I moved into a new house with a huge garage and no wife, so naturally, I set up another sim. The garage was totally unfinished so I did a lot of work myself to get it ready (pic of my starting point is included. It has 10' ceilings and allowed me to fit a 14x8.5' (approx) screen and I used a 16:10 resolution. I did it without an enclosure this time and I rely on the curtains to stop errant shots (it would have to be a pretty horrific shot to lead to miss the screen). Gotta say--no enclosure it great and really opens the space up. I posted pix below on how I built the frame for the screen to mount to since I wasn't really able to find good inspiration in my searches. Shout out to makerpipe.com for selling cool little fittings that made it easy to fasten the EMT frame to the wall. For ceiling protection, I used Commando Cloth (Chicago Canvas) and fastened it to from the ceiling to the EMT frame so it's slanted and catches flop shots nicely. I probably should have gone from the ceiling to the screen itself to avoid the exposed EMT pipe, but we'll see if I end up hitting the pipe often. If I do, I'll make that tweak. Best part is that when it snows, i can draw back the curtain and park in the garage, AND i still always have room for my motorcycle, snowblower/mower and tools, all hidden behind the curtains. God is good. Can't imagine being able to get away with this build (or the motorcycle) if I was still married so I'm finding silver linings.

Overall, I'm thrilled with it and it's a big upgrade from my first sim, which was still outstanding. Happy to answer any questions anyone might have.

Putting Mat and Hitting Mat: Country Club Elite. I used 1" exercise mats to help lift the putting mat to approx the same plane as the thicker hitting mat.
Impact Screen: PR-40 by West Coast Netting (bought the same screen as the first time, it's excellent)
Projector: Optoma GT1090HDR
Launch Monitor: Uneekor EyeXO
Slow mo Cameras: Swing Optix
Curtains: Chicago Canvas commando cloth curtains mounted on amazon.com rails
Software: Uneekor Refine and TGC 2019 (though considering trying GS Pro)

Nice job! Just wanted to say how jealous of that open ceiling to run wire. Currently building my sim with traditional joists, drywalled ceiling and insulation and its PITA.
