BenQ LK936ST Projector Question

In the process of getting my new simulator build setup in the basement and have a question about projector placement. I have the Sig12 enclosure (11'5" wide, 8'7" tall) and the BenQ LK936ST projector. Have 10 foot ceilings. Does anyone with this same setup have any recs for best projector placement and settings? I've been having a hard time filling out the screen completely. Would like the projector as high as possible, but with the top of the enclosure lower than my 10 ft ceilings, have been struggling to figure out how low I can go. Would appreciate any thoughts from someone that has been here before.

Note: I did use the BenQ tool for project placement, but that tool does not contemplate a lower enclosure height than ceiling height.

As a rule of thumb the bottom of the projector should be as close to inline with the top of the screen to avoid too much keystone. Just make sure it won't be hit by a club.

The best way I do it is with a ladder. I always stand on the ladder at the right height and find the best placement. My ceiling is 10' and my screen is 15.5x9 so I have a 1' mount on the ceiling.

That projector's lens shift capability should allow you to install it higher than you think, and even a good amount off-center (if you don't care about handedness). I wish I had bought the 936 instead of the TK710ST. It's a PITA installing a projector that doesn't have lens shift.

Hello, a little off the topic but wanted to see if you guys knew. If you have your light to spot light the hitting area does it affect the projector quality or brightness if the light is going through the path of the projector
