Advice need please

Looking for some help please. These are my dims. I'm going to shorter my stairs or make them detachable so I have the full width. Al I better of going with an mpact screen the width of my garage door rails(8') and it can go as high as ceiling(10') or having wider one about 9'6" but then the height could only go as high as the bottom of garage door rail 7'6"?

Any suggestions would be great.

Depends on what you want. I personally would go with a wider impact screen than the height. I assume you are putting the impact screen towards the door. Can you get rid of the shells to allow more space behind you? What is the width again?
