The thought for this project came as I was flipping through Facebook Marketplace while sitting in a treestand, bowhunting last fall. It turned out this was the start of my winter project.

I actually started working on this project in January of this year after purchasing a used golf sim (the one from Marketplace). It is Uneekor QED, and I know they are going to no longer support this model. Still, it was a complete golf sim, including a full 14x16 Carl's Place full enclosure, impact screen, full turf for enclosure, projector, projector mount, and gaming computer. I got a really good deal on it, so I will upgrade the QED when that becomes necessary.

I have a 36x40 pole building with a concrete floor that I decided to put my golf sim in. Unfortunately, this building does not have electricity, which just made the process a little harder. I now have the building wired and ready for electricity, but I am waiting for the ground to dry up a bit so I can bury the conduit. I decided to build an 18'x24' insulated room, as I wanted to be able to heat and cool this area as needed. The ceiling in the new room is 11', so I am fine on height.

Like most projects, this one is taking longer than planned since I am doing most of the work by myself, but it is coming along, and I am getting there.
I will post up some pictures and give updates as I move forward with this project.
Feel free to ask any questions or give any advice along the way.

I will post pics of the building before I started and a few more leading up to where I am now.

What is the best seating for golf sims? I have 9 feet from the end of the green to the wall.

I am trying to decide between building a bar/counter and using the gray stools like in the picture of my sim above ....something like this:
