New build questions

First, thank you to everyone on this Forum, I have spent hours reading and looking at pictures.

I have two questions.

1. I have set up a temporary hitting net. I nailed a 2x4 to the ceiling and hung a net from it. The current set up forces me to hit a little off center in the garage. I would say I am about 1.5 ft. right of center. After reading this forum, I realized that I don't need much room behind the screen and I figured out a way that I can be hitting from the center, but it would mean moving my net, projector etc, and I am not sure if its worth it or not. Do people that are hitting from off center get used to it, or should I take the time and move everything now?

2. I have a 10x10 screen with about 25ft. of depth available. I am currently hitting from 12' ft away and my ceilings are 10.5 ft high. I have a Carl's preferred net on the way. What projector do you guys recommend?

I would caution on hitting the same spot as my experience with the similar concern lead to wearing holes in two nets. I haven't used an impact screen yet to know if I will see the same kind of repetitive damage. I think impact screens are supposed to be stronger and more durable than nets though.

I am assuming that you have a 10 foot wide screen because the room is 10 feet wide. I also have a screen and room 10 feet wide. As a result I am offset approximately 1.5 feet as well. Not sure what system and simulator you are going to use but I am only familiar with skytrak and WGC. Both systems have the ability to offset the ball on the screen to the actual location of your hitting location. Therefore, visually there is no difference other than that. After striking the ball, the protracer will leave the screen directly in front of you. Physically you will be hitting closer to the wall than someone with a wider room but over time you will become more comfortable with swinging in a confined space
