Hey everyone - new member here from Michigan.
I have been working on my slow but sure build. I ordered a Mevo+ 5 - 6 weeks ago, but who knows when it will show up. I really wanted a monitor to use inside and outside.
After a bunch of research and planning, I am building a simulator area in garage in conjunction with a batting cage (my kids play travel baseball and I coach).
The batting cage netting will be hang from wires and is getting finished up this weekend. The cage will slide on the wires to one end of garage so I can still park cars. I am using high impact golf netting for the batting cage. One one end of the cage, I will hang a screen and extend out cage part way for when using the simulator.
I have a decent Mat already, but I am going to use it to create a DIY Gel Mat
I am going to hang a projector.
I am building a gaming tower to load TGC 19 on and build a cart to move it when it use. I have an extra monitor + keyboard and mouse.
I am buying the simulator stuff slowly over time because I don't really need it until the Fall, but I have a clear plan!
All-In, I should keep everything around $5K.
