Hi, just joined and I will be in the process of building a golf simulator setup in my old 1940's garage in Reading MA. The space will be tight as the garage serves as a garage/shed (no cars in there too small) a workshop and a pool cabana. I have about 15' of depth, 7 feet width (although I could go wider if I move things like lawn mower) and six feet of height where the screen is due to storage loft. Where I will be swinging has 10' ft of height.
I need the screen to be drop down along with side nets. No idea on where to put projector. I have plenty of electricity and ethernet in garage although not much heat. I built a movie room in our basement but ceiling is under 7 1/2 feet. I got the screen from Carls. I do have a couple of rooms in my rehabbed 1870 house with 9 ft ceilings, but I am not sure I can seel the wife on a golf simulator in the living room, kitchen, dining room or family room
So any ideas on the feasibility. Of course want to keep cost low but have something decent.
Thanks and I look forward to the next project
