    Hi all from Vermont

Hi everyone, been lurking around for a while now, just trying to gather info to see if I'm set up well. So far, so well. I've had a Skytrak about a year with the E6,.. I like it,.. thinking about getting the The Golf Club Game one time purchase for $499. Is it worth it or should I get the The Golf Club Game 2019 for $895 one time purchase? Thanks for the help and I do plan to post more and help out other members that may have questions. Stay safe everyone

Well thank you sir, but why? graphics? options? it's a couple hundred more. Other then more courses, what makes it better and would it be more enjoyable then the E6 I have now. Again, thanks and stay safe

There's a way bigger community for online tournaments on TGC2019, which is honestly the coolest part of the game. From what I hear, it's pretty much dried up on the old version as nearly everyone has made the switch by now. The old version will only become more obsolete, so you would just be buying a dying product.

It's also my understanding that the graphics were improved and some of the ball physics were fixed and improved for the 2019 version and there are tee box options so you can play at different distances, even within the same group of guests. The LIDAR technology for designing courses has been a game changer for 2019 as well.

It's a lifetime purchase, so the extra few hundred bucks is nothing when you consider the long-term use. As JoseM81 said, just get the newest version and don't look back.

Hi everyone, well I dropped a dime or 2 on TGC19,... well,... it's AWESOME! I love it. I even did a local course that I play here in Vermont. Granted, it's not a PGA course. More like a BGA (beginner golf ass.) but it fun. Stay safe everyone

Did you use lidar to make the course? If so, what is the real name of the course and what did you call it in TGC2019?
