Hey guys, I’m moving to a new house in March and I’m wondering if the space I’ll have available is even worth the planning effort. I currently have a cheap mat and Rukket net set up in my unfinished basement, but the ceiling is low so at 6’ tall a wedge is all I feel comfortable swinging.
In the new house, I’ll have a finished room in the basement with the following dimensions:
LENGTH- 12.5’
WIDTH- 10.5’
HEIGHT- 9.5’
I’m mostly interested in having a place to practice, as the move is taking me away from the club and driving range at the end of my street. (Sigh) Where we’re moving in Atlanta the clubs wouldn’t have me, and even if they did I would probably need 2-3 more jobs to pay for it! As such, I’m looking at getting a Skytrak with a better quality mat and a net return style net with side panels to protect the wall. I’m not too interested in a projector, instead I think I want to mount a tv on the wall at the side of the room. This room would be for practicing only, so no need for space for seating or other amenities.
Long story short, do I have space to comfortably set up what I mentioned above and practice with clubs other than just a wedge?
Appreciate any advice.
