    Hello from SE Michigan!

    Hi Everyone,

    My name is Kevin (38) and I'm in Southeast Michigan.

    I just took up golf for the first time this past summer with my wife after she bought me a set of clubs for my birthday and have fallen in love with it so far!

    We've been going to the range semi-religiously, at least once a week, and played our first par3 local beginner course just in October.

    We also started taking lessons together on a Full Swing setup with E6 and have been amazed on how quickly we're picking up the mechanics and technique.

    We just bought our first house and are hoping to purchase/build our own home simulator this coming spring!

    Loving this GSF community so far and have already learned so much. This forum is now on my daily list of forums to catch up on!

    Thanks for everyone's insight, experience, knowledge, and wisdom!

    Yes, there is tons of information up here on building your own sim and selecting a launch monitor. I've been catching up on this forum for a over 7 years - still learning... I'm in NW Indiana, not too far from you We (my family) travel to SW Michigan quite a bit, but unfortunately not to play golf yet, maybe I'll do that with them on a trip.

    Welcome to the forum! I'm in SE Michigan as well (Troy). I built my setup last winter and play on it constantly (https://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum...omplete-w-pics). You'll love it if you take the plunge.

      Hey Neighbor! I'm up in Auburn Hills so just a few minutes away. Your setup looks awesome! How do you like your Optoma projector? I'm not decided on the projector I want yet...

    Welcome to the forum! I'm originally from NW Indiana (South Bend, IN) and have family in SW Michigan also. Currently residing in Chicago so small world. Enjoy getting lost in all of the endless amounts of good information here.
