Hello from Oklahoma – researching simulators for a commercial venue
I wanted to jump in and introduce myself. I’m a golfer based in Oklahoma and I’m currently researching the possibility of opening a golf simulator venue with two bays for public play.
Right now I’m in the learning phase—trying to understand the different launch monitors, simulator software, reliability, maintenance, and what works well in a commercial environment. The discussions here about real-world setups and user experiences have already been incredibly helpful.
I’m also keeping an eye on the marketplace since used equipment could potentially be a good way to get started.
Looking forward to learning from everyone here and hopefully contributing where I can as I go through the process. If anyone here has experience running simulators in a commercial setting, I’d love to hear what equipment has held up best.
