Hello all!
I'm new to the simulation aspect of golf. I've played one simulated round in my life when I lived on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Recently I've felt my golf game gets better, but then reverts back to what it was. I'll shoot high 80's to low or mid 90's for a few weeks and then I will struggle to break 100 for months. So, I decided I wanted to practice more and a simulator was the way to go since I can't make it to the range.
I learned a hard lesson when I got P3ProSwing and felt it wasn't what I was looking for. Now I'm selling that since I recently ordered a SkyTrak and will purchase the TGC software. I haven't gone full sim with the projector and hitting screen......yet. So I also ordered a net return and will use my laptop or an available TV (if I feel like dragging it in the garage) to watch my shots.
I'm counting down the days until I receive my SkyTrak! I can't wait to set my handicap in Q-School and try and get involved in some of the tourney's. I love the competitive aspect of Golf, especially since success depends on yourself. I also look forward to hopefully improving my game out on the links!
A big thank you to this forum for guiding me in the right direction for me, and providing me with more than enough information needed to make a decision. If only I found it before the P3ProSwing....
