Today's Posts - comments not making thread bold

To the forum creators, this is an amazing forum and I look at it 10+ times a day it seems and was usually like to do it by going to the new posts by using the today's post tab, it works great other then the thread doesn't turn bold (unread) again if people just comment on someone elses post. This is why ive gotten in the habit of quoting the person's post before I respond so it pops up as new for everyone.

But is there any way we can get the posts to turn back to unread on new posts, replies AND comments all together? Not sure if anyone else notices this or even cares. Its definitely not terrible and wouldn't stop me for from visiting the site, but just a little user experience bump I would love if possible. Thanks.

I always just check Activity stream . There you see new comments, new posts , everything ! In order and easy to check.

Thanks, I appreciate the suggestion, and I actually do check that every once in a while when there are no more bold ones in the today's posts and want to see if any comments I missed. My only issue with the activity steam is it always seems like a bunch of random posts to everything and in no real order, so if I wake up and a thread had 7 new posts on it then I don't really get the continuity of reading it through unless I click on the go to post part and then it's basically similar.

Thanks again for the suggestion though. I think I must just prefer the clean and more organized feel of the today's post section and being able to pick and choose what to read first or if at all. The comment part turning new posts to unread would just be the cake topper for me there haha
