Wait you already have tgc??? With the protee interface?? If so, you don't need a new license key. You can use your existing licence key. All you need is gsx to run it.. let me know if you need it...

@Tonyd. Right, I have TGC currently used with Skytrak with Skytrak TGC interface.

I just downloaded the GSX but I think I have to wait my GC2(on its way) and request a new license key from Protee. Is this correct procedures? Will the machine id always the same? Thank you.

With mine it was.. I didn't have to get a new license.. When you get your gc2, now that everything is connected, Bluetooth gsx protee interface.. etc. Follow these steps. Turn on your gc2 first so it connects with bluetooth. Then with your computer on activate your protee interface. Wait a few moments, then activate gsx. Switch the slider to the on position. Both input and output should say connected.. ( if one of those does not connect then hit a test shot to activate the gc2 then try again ) . Activate the tgc... once you get to your desired game or course, or range you should be good to go.. since the gc2 measures the ball, there is no need to change any clubs in the tgc. If you grab driver it will read it the same as if you grab a 7 iron. That's really cool. No inputting which club you want to hit. Hope this helps.

Anytime Joe let me know how it goes and if you need more help just ask. Have fun. No 4 sec delay from strike to result like with skytrak. It's about a .7 sec delay.. much better

Tony, When I started the game, it said Protee SDK not start or connected. Are you familiar with this issue? Thanks.

Thanks so much for everyone's input and assistance. Protee support is the best!!! I finally got to the destination. My son will enjoy TGC and me enjoy watching. Next, my skytrak will be on sale.

Go for you Joe. Glad your all set up. Yeah me too I have a soon to be 3 yr old son and he loves golf. I really like the simplicity of the gc2 and how well it works with the tgc. You won't be dissapointed..

I generally just load up the course I'm planning on playing, and use auto rewind until I'm feeling fully warmed up.

Yea, BM, I do that as well sometimes. That's a good way of doing it too. Especially if the first hole is wide open. But I do like hitting to tarets to get some rythem with the irons and shorterms shots. That's one thing I like about the protee Sunday range. It has many targets to shoot at. I do like Mt''s newest range though which I put om my favorites list as well.
