I'm just now getting around to researching GSA VisTrak a bit more (as I wait for my mevo+ to arrive). From the videos I've seen and from the website it appears to be a really great alternative to the mevo+ and a better value than comparable systems (Uneekor). Can someone give me some pros/cons of this system?
GSA VisTrak -- Pros and Cons

I don't have one but the one thing I have noticed with GSA over the last several years is that there is a pattern of discussing products in a way that makes them sound very close to being ready and offering a lot of features for the money, and then the discussion dies out. The VisTrak thread started almost a year ago on July 5. There were 125 posts between then an Jan 2. Then six posts between Jan 2 and March 28 and nothing since then.
On May 14 a new thread was started on the LX2 which seems to be another new product. I just get the impression that they get 90% of the way there on a lot of products and then move on to another one. They seem to have a shotgun approach of offering lots of camera configurations and seeing what sticks. As an engineer I understand that the last 10% of the project often takes the most time because the last bugs are the toughest to squash. But as a consumer I expect the product I purchase to work well or any problems be remedied quickly. I think the reason Uneekor made such a splash is that it worked well right out of the gate and the small issues that came up were handled very quickly by their support team. They also had a very simple offering: one piece of hardware with three software packages.

And I don’t think they offer the LX2 anymore. It’s now a LX3........ I had looked at their product, but it just seems to be in beta all the time. Too bad as it looks promising.

Exactly what I was seeing. I was wondering how a) nobody talked about these products and their usability in their homes, b) VisTrak has been in beta for a year and c) how the website was so bad but the product appeared to be so good. This answers my questions. My next question is, from where do they get their funding? That's a lot of R&D and no revenues.

I have been beta testing the Vistrak and Vistrak Stereo, since the beginning. While GSA has given me the reseller territory of Canada, I have yet to come to terms with the owner of GSA. I have had a GSA system since 2014 and can tell you that it is very accurate. A quick list of pros and cons.
Pros Vistrak stereo- Putting is second to none....
- Speed detection is excellent. It can detect a speed increase down to 0.02 mph (putting) and 0.1 mph (full shots)
- HA is accurate within +/- 0.13 degrees.
- LA is accurate within +/- 0.5 degrees.
- Playback video of the clubface at impact.
- Short chips are handled with ease..... 1 yard carries are picked up.
- No shot delay
- Accurate clubface and club path measured.
- Not a plug and play system. Cameras need to be installed and cables run. Software needs to be installed and the system needs to be calibrated for it to be accurate.
- Currently no spin detection. Spin is currently calculated from club data. I have done side by side tests with a GC2. You can see that ball flight is similar for most shots.
- Novice users may find the system overwhelming at first.
- system requires special lighting requirements.
Beta testing IMO was opened up to the public far too early. We lost a few users that never had the patience to stick it out. Fair enough....to each their own....There is a lot to be said for the GC2 that you can just plop down and start hitting.
The software has only become useable IMO... recently. All major bugs have been worked out in version 9.3.5.9. Flightscoperick and I are now compiling a list of improvement features that we would like to see in the future.
I should be receiving the first LX3 for testing within the next few weeks. I believe that there will only be two test units sent out.
Andygg1986 does have a point. Martin is the epitome of the brilliant crazy engineer. He will have a thought and next thing you know, it may be up on the site....coming soon....
The primary reason that I have been radio silent is that GSA and I have not come to terms to what my role and responsibilities will be with GSA.
Plenty of videos can be found on my YouTube channel.....Keither5150. More videos are ready to be uploaded once Martin and I iron out a few details.
