  • club tracking add on

Functionally, what would be the difference between getting an eagle base as a club tracking add on to your current lm setup and getting a ccam. From what I gather, if you can get through the setup process with the eagle base, it functions adequately. But what about the ccam, is that a finished and working product. If I get an eagle base for club tracking, what else would I need to get it up and running? Is a certain light required or a camera trigger mat?

I am somewhat spaced challenged so the Eagle base works much better than the CX3 configuration for me. Also the integration and playback capabilities on the Eagle allow a real time video play back of the club through impact. I purchased the LED spotlight and with that set up it was easy to configure and works well. Positioning the spotlight between the tee area and screen gave better results then positioning it slightly behind the tee area. No trigger mat is needed you just need to have the ball centered within the field of view of the eagle camera for best results. the camera locates the ball and signals ready if you are in a predefined launch area. The video buffer is taken from frames around impact based on the ball leaving the defined launch zone. Works really well!

Plenty of light is key. The recommended LED spotlight works well as long as you are not higher than 10ft..... If you are higher.... there is a 150 watt version of the same light....
