i know this is the gsa golf section of the forum and this post is more broadly speaking about high frame rye cameras. Since GSA tech is based on high rate cameras, I was hoping somebody on hear could fill in some gaps in my knowledge.
1st question-
I understand that global shutter cameras are necessary to get a clear freeze frame of a golf club swinging at speeds s hogh as 120 mph. But I’m now learning that there are further requirements yo get clear images when scrolling through video one frame at a time. Can somebody point out what specs are necessary for this.
2nd question- using over ball mounted cam
how high a framerate would be needed to not only get clear video frame to frame but also be able to see the full compression of the golf ball on the face of the club at impact?
