  • Vistrak is ready for sale..... Alternative purchasing options

Well, what was estimated to be a few months of testing is coming up on a year and a half... I can say now that the system is as solid as the PX5 stereo ever was. Please note that we are only selling the new Vistrak Stereo and Vistrak Eagle. The Eagle sells for $1500 and the Vistrak Stereo sells for $3500. These versions are uncased or ....without a case. Purchasing from us will give you free remote support if needed. Our website is currently under construction...... and we are only accepting Paypal for the time being. Credit card payments should be available within a month. Please note that our Vistrak Stereo is a little different than what was previously sold. The new design has really improved our short game, which was no slouch before. I will be posting some more gameplay videos along with some short game demostrations. Please note that purchasing directly from GSA's website will not give you access to our support or future updates from us. Cameras are currently in stock and customers can expect delivery within a week to 10 days.

Short chipping is not for the faint of heart....... Golfing on a sim with a excellent short game is somewhat magical.

Many people actually believe that putting sucks on golf simulators..... It doesn't have to suck.... Hmmmm. that is actually a pretty good slogan...... The is the new Vistrak stereo system..... Please note that the single camera Vistrak Eagle system has identical putting.....

Can you summerise the difference between the eagle and stereo from a gameplay point of view?

Sure, The Eagle is a single camera unit. It does not measure LA... LA is determined by club selection, similar to Optishot. The stereo system adds two cameras for LA detection.. Shot shape is the same on both units. Putting is the same on both units. Video playback of the clubhead at impact is available on both units. Spin calculations are more accurate with measured LA. I will do a gameplay video of the single camera either tonight or tomorrow and post it here.

Agree with all the comments above. Not having the measured launch angle really detracts from the experience. Scalding a wedge in real life and watching it soar on the screen really breaks the magic. (Not that I would ever scald a wedge😉) I have been using the Stereo system for a while now and these guys have gotten it really solid. Putting 6 ft. in the sim matches 6 ft. in the game, Ball movement and distance very accurate when set up properly.

We are offering an alternative place to purchase the GSA Vistrak and Vistrak Stereo. Included in our price, we offer remote setup and service. At this time we are not offering any of the other simulators on the GSA site.

Customers who chose to purchase directly from GSA can most certainly come to us for help. Unfortunately that help is not free. GSA customers can purchase our help and support for a one time fee of $500. Existing GSA customers can also come to us for help. Cost will be determined on a case by case basis. This help also includes access to our discord channel and access to our installation videos. We are also putting the final touches on our user manual.

The vistrak Stereo offers a short game experience that is unmatched at this pricepoint.. More gameplay videos coming soon. In the meantime, here is a video showing how well the Vistrak Stereo handles difficult short chips.

I tried to look at your build page to see what the equipment looks like, and had a hard time. Can you post some pics of the vistrak Stereo and the spot light ect., so I can see what it looks like on the ceiling. Trying to figure out what is what on GSA website is confusing to say the least.

We are not selling the system with the case that you see on the GSA website. You will get 3 cameras like this..... see attached image. Each camera is currently mounted individually. We are working on a case that will take aiming of the cameras out of the equation. The spotlight is mounted on a bracket that we purchase from Home depot. We are probably won't be shipping them in the case for a few months. We need to add a feature to the calibration process so that customers will not have to aim their cameras..... A few customers have brought to our attention that the cameras are not all that easy to square up...... I have since made a little video showing how easily this can be done.... It only takes about 10 seconds to square up a cam when you understand how the mounts work.

In the future, cams will be mounted in a case and will not need to be aimed.

Thanks, I wanted to see how the light was mounted relative to the cameras...Looks like behind and over the hitting area. I didn’t see any markings on the balls so I wanted to make sure I wouldn’t need them... the contrast/brightness is a little odd and makes the replay hard to see. Assume that is for the camera to pick up the ball... can you add swing cameras that replay swing similar to uneekor?

The light can works well as long as it is mounted within a few feet of the tee. I have tested it behind, in front, on the side.... I currently have it about 8 inches off center and even with the tee. We are doing a major software overhaul which will include the replay video. We are also looking at adding 1 or 2 swing cameras similar to Uneekor. Our current system calculates spin based on club data. After our new software is released, we will be working on spin detection with the current hardware. I have some videos on my YouTube channel that show the Vistrak Stereo side by side with the Mevo +.... Our spin calculations are pretty good. Our software overhaul will address a few shortcomings that we have identified.

                Keith,

Please tell me where to position the cameras and spot light for my VisTrak Stereo system. I am still having problems getting my wedge shots to be captured.

                Thanks,

                Bob

I have tried everything for flop shots. Only way to not have any problem as of now with the GSA software is to use a black wedge. As Keith mentioned In our updated software this shouldn’t be a problem.

Rick has resorted to going to a black wedge for flop shots. I myself...can hit my ceiling about 18-24 inches before the screen....which gives me about a 50 degree LA. I have my light off center about 10 inches and even with the tee. It may depend on how open your face is. Another key thing is to darken the background as much as possible and mark your clubs. I really don't like smashing it into my padded ceiling so I do limit myself to about 40 LA.. One way to figure out a position for your light that works for you is to .....stream the Vistrak camera and then slowly move your club through the hitting area with a similar face angle as your flop shot..... If you flash the camera with the spotlight reflection....you can probably fine a better location for your light.....Normal shots work well as long as the spotlight is within 3 feet of the tee in any direction. We are working on a massive software update..... I have come up with a sure fire way of ....not picking up the club.... that hopefully will be implemented soon.

As of today, Rick and I will not be selling Vistrak Stereos. We have ended our relationship with Martin and GSA. We are developing our own simulator platform. Hopefully we will be selling units by mid summer. We have team up with a fine gent from the UK and we have a brilliant software engineer working for us. Between the 4 of us...we have over 30 years of golf simulator experience. I still have my GSA Vistrak system which is now up for sale .......$2000 which includes setup support.
