I've been using graphite for a few years now. A couple weeks ago I ordered the new M2 irons with steel shafts because I didn't like the graphite shaft offerings. After 3 range trips, the inside of my trail elbow hurts like holy hell. A fellow golfer recommended the Tommy Copper elbow sleeve. I bought one today and just wearing it for a few minutes definitely reduced the pain. I'm gonna give it a go Sunday and report back the results. Oh btw, I'll be gaming my Callaway Apex with Steelfibers. Those new M2's are getting Padersons.

I just had my first run in with tendonitis in the ring finger/wrist of my leading hand this weekend. Was a normal 4 iron shot nothing special to speak of, but the pain radiated down my finger/wrist and forearm. Hurts to grip anything. Not sure how fix this one, or if simply not swinging will work, but I don't want to stop swinging the clubs!

This is what I have bad eddie. Leading arm/hard to grip things. It's manageable as long as I skip a couple of days a week. There is still some amount of pain daily though. Some days it's just real tight and will loosen up after a few easy swings with some amount of pain during those swings. Based on my comment earlier in this thread I've been dealing with this for 3 weeks and hasn't really changed much.

I don't know if it's proper to call it an injury, but the first day that I felt the pain I couldn't pick up/hold anything with my left arm. Skipped that day. The next day I took a half swing with a 9 iron and it almost brought a tear to my eye. It loosened up a lot as I made more swings. All I can say is that it hasn't been that bad again.

Taking a week off is not an option for me...

Well I just had a bit of an epiphany. It is my left hand ring finger, where I do wear my wedding band. Thinking the ring might be the real issue here, getting pushed into the tendon repeatedly. Gonna let it heal for a couple days and remove the ring whenever i play. I've wore this ring for many years and kind of forgot it was on. Here's to hoping this works!
