  • What does "Unapproved" mean in a new thread?

So a friend of mine asked me to look into a newer simulation software currently in Beta. I have a new thread in the Foresight page but - right after I posted my question for the group - I noticed it was listed at "Unapproved" and needs some sort of moderator input. Has anyone else seen this before? I am hoping I have not unintentionally violated some sort of forum rule - it was an honest question - and this is my "Go-To" forum for these kinds of answers or opinions.

    Thoughts?

jasonreg did your post get approved eventually? What did it take to change it from Unapproved status? I have a post reply in same situation and I can’t find any help info about this. I have flagged my own post now but even then, few days later, still no change.

If it is in violation of the forum rules, it will be unapproved or blocked. The simulator software in question is a banned product.

I do not, just what I read in another thread

Yeah - not sure why but yes it seems that this forum does not allow discussion about that beta software. The post in question was never approved or unlocked. Had to take my discussion elsewhere. Unfortunate that I did not really ever get an explanation from a moderator or an owner of the site but I guess they are within their rights to set the rules.

my only problem is they have terms and conditions to state this so I am not sure how we are supposed to know

Agreed. Had the same issue. The moderators have the right to block stuff they think is inappropriate, but getting an explanation of why a post is blocked would be helpful in avoiding it in the future.
