Using golf simulator for shooting or racing computer video games for my kids

I am turning my garage into a game room. In addition to the golf simulator and putting strip mat I have ordered the 40th year anniversary edition of PacMan/Galaga Arcade machine.

I am not that familiar with video games other than Pacman and Galaga. I have a few questions:

    1) Driving Game - What is a good driving game for kids from 5 to 12 to be used with a 9x9 project screen? Can you recommend a seat with steering wheels, brake and gas pedal adjustable for kids and adults?

    2) Shooting game - What is a good shooting game for kids and adults - how can we set up so that the game can detect the gun aiming correctly at the targets on the projector screen. What kind of sensor do we need?

    Many thanks,

1). Driving game, depends on which platform, example, XBOX, PS4/5, or PC. Most people start out with Logitech or something similar
Experience the road on Xbox, PlayStation or PC with the Logitech G920/G29 racing wheel. Pin-point gear selection, realistic console, and more.

As for a racing seat, search on amazon or ebay for "racing simulator cockpit"

2). You have few options and how technical you are with emulation or just plug and play type of person.
Example, you can go with MAME setup and get light guns and play most of all the past arcade shooting games. Other option is hook up your Wii or Nintendo Switch and play those games.
