losing my players settings

can anyone tell me why do i keep losing my players setting, clubs and clothing when i log in on tcg 2019?

It happens to me if I’m idle on the Home Screen for 1 minute. So I make sure to click on online societies or whatever quickly after loading.

When you launch TGC, do not walk away or start doing other things on your computer. You MUST click past the opening screen within a minute. Once you get all the way to the menu where you can see your golfer standing, you are safe to leave it there however long you want.

I believe there is a forum post floating around with instructions for backing up your local game settings.
