Now that I'm golfing all year long, my right middle finger joint (I'm a right handed golfer) is getting sore and swells up slightly after 18 holes. Anyone have any suggestions to help eliminate this, besides not golfing as much😥😥? Tape my fingers, use a right handed glove, possibly??? I'll listen to all ideas.

Depending on age, trigger finger might be an issue. It can be fixed, (temporarily) with an injection from a hand specialist. The fix will last dependent on various conditions. I speak from experience, mine lasted over a year. I was able do do some exercises and message therapy that have helped a lot.
Might also look into your hitting mat. Lots of threads on here with great suggestions on joint friendly alternatives.

I would also suggest looking at your hitting mat. Sim golf is harder on the joints. I used a mat from amazon, and my joints were killing me. I switched to a holy grail hitting strip, and that helped a lot, but I still get sore. My soreness is most noticeable when I wake up in the morning and try to grip a glass of water.

Various grips have different softness. You can try a bigger grip i.e. midsize, xl etc. but my experience is although they decreased the finger pain a bit my ball striking, especially the clubhead speed got worse. My solution was to get the same size grips I was using but only softer. As previously mentioned a softer mat will also help. You can also try taping your finger with some waterproof tape. You see this a lot on tour players who must hit lots of ball to stay competitive.
