It has rained 30 of the last 34 days here in Oregon and on the first nice day we have had a break in the weather before the next monsoon, I had to get out and do some real golfing, what a mistake that was, first off everything was so wet I sunk in the marsh of what you would call a fairway socks were soaked after the first hole, all my clubs were a shovel and not a club I swear every shot had an inch of mud having to wipe off and a divot that was the size of a mans toupee. I have never lost 10 balls on fairway shots ever, they came down and were swallowed up by the earth I found 8 other shots that were plugged in the fairway that I had to dig out with my fingers and the greens were just aerated, looked like goose crap everywhere. so basically one of the worst days of golf for me that's for sure and as I got home with my tail between my legs with a score I would not hang on my refer, and now I will have an all nighter of just cleaning my clubs to be able to use them on my sim again, So here's the point of this besides giving you all a been there done that moment, I built this sim to not do what happened today and enjoy golfing in the winter and practice and get ready for the summer when I can go outside and actually enjoy a day of golfing, today was a lesson learned and glad to be home with my sim again and really appreciate what I have invested in and enjoy playing in my home and looking forward more then ever to a winter of playing with you guys on the tour. just a little reality check and an aha moment..
