Do you use golf shoes in your simulator?

I us my regular golf shoes. Want everything to be the same as if I was playing outside.

I wear running shoes. I don't want the spikes to cause unnecessary wear on the turf.

Over the last few months I've gone from socks & golf shoes to running shoes to casual shoes without socks to bare feet.

Golf shoes. My footwork is way better with them. I tend to slip and slide around on the mat in sneakers.

I use spikeless golf shoes in the sim. Spiked on the course.

Older pair of spikeless shoes in my sim (cleaned up) and the replacement pair for the course. I think it is important for the stance and footwork to wear shoes but I sure do not want to track any dirt into the sim room.

I have a pair of running shoes from Nike, zoom Pegasus. I think they are the best from this brand, and I use them in my simulator. I tried from golf shoes to casual sneakers air jordans at forstepstyle, which are just as comfortable and light. For me, it matters a lot that I wear quality shoes, even if I give more money but to know that it does not wear out so quickly and that I will feel good.

Normal sneakers/running shoes so as to not put extra wear on the turf.

Golf shoes. With the current type of soft spikes it really creates no greater wear on the stance mat which is a CC elite. Not using spikes and playing in sneakers, slip on shoes etc creates a softer stance which is not realistic relative to real golf. It's kind of similar to hitting with no shoes. It may help your balance but it decreases your swing speed since you cannot really crank it up with your feet and legs.

Depends what your stance surface and underlay is made out of but I haven't noticed enough of a difference to bother cleaning off my spikes so I use normal cross trainers.

I have a couple pair of same spikeless golf shoes. One for sim and one for outdoors.

I have two pair of the same shoe model - one spineless for inside and one soft spikes for the course.

My golf shoes are white and I have a skytrak which I think causes issues…so I wear tennis shoes. Thought about buying some black spineless for the sim
