I am considering purchasing the Arccos system to help me better understand my strenghts and weaknesses so I can better focus my practice. I'd like to know from people who have the system if they find it worthwhile or an gagget that they soon don't use? Thanks

I had the original Arccos and at first it was really cool with the stats but lots of manual updating and correcting. I did not like having my phone in my pocket when playing or keeping close. I understand they have the belt loop options. The putting feature was not real good. What I did like was what it said distances were but with a launch monitor I know that data. I think you can just add a +/- for fairways hit, greens hit and putts made. You can also put 7+ for green hit 7 iron, or 7- on green missed with the 7 iron.
I think it is a cool concept but in the end I used 8-10 rounds and said more of a pain than worth it. Others may disagree but it is what I found. It couldn't tell my chipping still sucks.

I did not like it with the phone, I have an apple watch 6 now and it works very well with it. I might have to add or subtract a putt now and then but that takes all of 2 seconds
i like having gps yardages on my watch and use my laser as well

Some of us have eyes that can't see an apple watch! would have to stop and put the cheaters on. Interesting about the watch and how well it works - sounds cool

I am 61 and cannot see my hand in front of my face but I can see the yardages
there is also a popup to mark the pin when you are on the green,. just stand close it and press the button
this makes the yardages more accurate
i still have the sw running on the phone in the cart but you really dont need to look at it constantly unless you are playing an unfamiliar course
