Indoor golf tees. What do you use?

The best solution by far for the CCE mat is a product called Sanha Tee. You can find it on amazon. It's is adjustable , pushes below the surface when you don't want a tee sticking up.. And you have no tees flying around your Sim room . Try it , you'll be glad you did. It's also ridiculously durable ...had mine for 2 months ... Thousands of shots and it's still like new

It fits in the hole on the CCE? When you push it down for hitting an iron or putting does it completely hide from the surface?

@Stiggity so how are these holding up? I'm guessing you got the ones mentioned, which aren't available on Amazon right now, so my next question would probably be for someone else... does the white Tomahawk tee mess with SkyTrak?

I've had good success with BirTees. Don't get white ones though, they mess up the read.... I had white ones and they gave me fits, dark blue work fine.

The tan colored ones mess up reads too! I ended up buying big bags of castle tees. I like the consistency of a known tee height every time & don't mind breaking a few per round.

@trhuke I use BirTee too, (also made the mistake of getting white at first. it was cheaper. then i learned) but they just don't last. I get 100-200 hits maybe out of one then it's toast. I only use two different sizes, so that's 200 - 400 hits is all I get for the $18 asking price, and the rest to me is junk. (I suppose I'll have to just cut down the extra ones)

I'm kinda looking for a bit better return than that, even though I do like the BirTees.

You pay more for each one. It’s listed as 9.99 for the 2 pack, but worth it if you throw out the other sizes. Also last time I ordered 2 packs, they threw in a 3rd for free. Not sure if that’s typical or not.

I use the #5's and #4's when the 5's break. I haven't done it yet, but I was just planning on cutting 6, 7, and 8 down to #5. Get the most out of my $18!

While I like Tomahawk tees, they can sort of fall over at times and are a bit flimsy - especially if using Fiberbuilt hitting strips. i use Tomahawk tees stacked together for a driver. I have a thin bungee cord material (the same stuff that holds my impact screen in place) laced thru the stack with a knot and tied to a GC2 so tees don't fly all over the place. Using three stacked together make them stand up a lot better on either a Fiberbuilt or CCE mat. For irons or hybrids/fairway woods sometimes I use the shorter tees that come in the set. Most times I just hit them off the mat since finding and chasing tees is a PITA

The rubber tee holders that stick thru the hole in the impact strip are O.K. if you use so called unbreakable tees (maybe so for about 100 driver hits)

If you can find a pack of badminton shuttlecocks for cheap, they work great after you pull the rubber heads off of them. I have a very fibrous hitting mat so it doesn't take a standard tee well; even the Tomahawks don't sit up straight most of the time. And the shuttlecocks can be trimmed and taped to suit.

But, as someone said earlier, don't use white.
