  • Indoor golf tees. What do you use?

I've been looking to get some different tees to use indoors. I purchased some rubber ones but don't like the feel after I hit them. I will post a link when I get home from work of what they are. I am looking so something that's easy to find with my garage sim and will be a max height above the ground if I was using a 3 1/4 inch tee inserted into the turf and won't break that easily. I have plastic tees but sometimes one will last a while or I will break the tips on a bunch in a row. I am waiting on my CCE elite strip to arrive on Tuesday to replace my monster turf. I also don't want to to drill a hole in the mat to put a rubber tee. I do own a skytrak?

I have read the other post but looking for more input. So what would you recommend or suggest I try?

Mmlincon is right... I use those tees as well. I started with rubber tees too... I like these much better. Won't wear down your screen either.

The CCE will take any tee. I use the ones I get free at my club.

I use the tee holder that comes with a CCE mat. They are just a rubber holder for the tee.which pokes through a hole in the mat and extends just slightly higher then the top of the mat. Into this I insert unbreakable tees. By doing this you get a tee at whatever height you want and the tee stays in the tee holder so you don't have to chase the tee after every shot.

The unbreakable tees are really not unbreakable but they tend to last well over 100 full bogie driver swings which is close enough.

For teeing iron shots you can either use the top of the rubber tee holder or use one of the unbreakable tees you broke inserted into the tee holder.

I just got these last night and love them. However, when you place the tall one on the laser dot (skytrak users) for drivers, the thing lights up like a giant christmas bulb. Some may not like that. The small one works great for both irons and when flipped over for hybrids and 4 wood.

I bought the tee claw at our local golf show last spring and i put the lanyard through the tomahawk tee and attached to the tee claw and now nothing goes flying around, no more looking around for the flying tees!!!

I have the tomahawk neo tees also. They work great! wbond is right if you place it so the laser hits it, it becomes very flashy.

My criteria for sim tees are ones that do not break. I have tried too many to count. These in photo work well and have not broken yet.

same design as a 4 yards more tee which I use and also the cheap castle tee from ebay. a 50 pack lasts for years.

I have been very happy with the '4 more yards' tees. Haven't broken one yet.

tomahawk neo tees 3 different tee heights. They don't glow that much. I placed it in the laser beam for maximum effect.

Does the driver tee needs to be replaced every time you hit or does it stay in place?

I chase them down. Mxwoodman says he ties them with fishing line so they don't get away.

I use the tomahawk neo tees - I cut them as needed and then I tie fishing line to them so I don't have to chase them down.
The fishing line at some point it will cut through the plastic and only on the one I use for the driver - now I add a little duct tape on the inside and outside just where I tie the string and that has lasted a long time.

I also use the '4 more yards' tees for long iron and I some plastic tees the I have shorten and use those for irons

The best solution by far for the CCE mat is a product called Sanha Tee. You can find it on amazon. It's is adjustable , pushes below the surface when you don't want a tee sticking up.. And you have no tees flying around your Sim room . Try it , you'll be glad you did. It's also ridiculously durable ...had mine for 2 months ... Thousands of shots and it's still like new
