  • InHomeSports golf lessons

I'm curious about getting golf instruction via InHomeSports app in the comfort of my golf simulation setup at home.

Has anyone utilized this method and if so what is your opinion?

I live 2 hrs away from any decent golf instructors so the ability to stroll out to my golf room, fire up the ipad and get live instruction while utilizing my SkyTrak setup is really attractive.

    Thanks!

The technology is crazy now. You record a few swings and send it to a pro. He can slow it down and commentate, record and do the lesson remotely. Most pros do it cheap too. Mine charges 20 bucks a lesson or some monthly fee for unlimited I think. I forget but it was 50 or a hundred. You can get your kid or wife to record you on your phone and send it off. I use Hudl Technique.

This method isn't live. It's done through email.

Dan Carraher on athlete nation is very good. He does video lessons for $25 a lesson or 80 for 4 or something. I've had a bunch with him or the past 4 years. Some have been filmed from my garage on the sim, some outdoors on the range.

Yes, this technology is getting very cool. I've done the video lessons through Rotary Swing but this InHomeSports deal is a live lesson with streaming video via the Ipad or Iphone, whichever you prefer.

I may try a lesson in the next week and report back.
