Anyone have any good tips to help with slicing? I've tried several drills but still having no luck. What tips or advice have you used to fix your slice?

I hate to say this, but lessons/a good instructor that can look at your swing is your best bet. I played golf some 15 years ago but got back into it recently because of the idea that I could now practice better using the new technology. I always had a big slice on my driver. And still did after starting out. I started taking lessons a few months ago, mostly working on fundamentals and a good routine. It has made a big difference in my iron game. But we've yet to tackle the driver, however some of the fundamentals like grip, stance, and others definitely reduced my slice.

When I was getting back into this thing I thought I would cut to the chase and just do it right. It's hard to watch all those drills and get a good feel for whats really going on in your swing, even if you can record yourself.

But I digress, Everyone learns differently and has different abilities and swings, so it's not all one size fits all.

Feel free to post a video, I'm sure I could send you in the right direction.

Otherwise there are a billions ways to slice the ball. All a slice is is a club path that's more left of the club face at impact.

as stated above there are many possible reasons you slice. Slice is caused when the club path is going left of the club face. (generally with most people over the top) The most common thing you will see is loss of secondary tilt where there is no tilt away(and sometimes towards) from the target. I wouldn't start working on slicing drills or tips until you find out the problem.

Lessons is your best option, but make sure you get an instructor that you like and has good references. It took me a long time to find a good instructor and when I did my slice was fixed in a matter of one lesson. I could not believe it.

I couldn't agree more- got to figure out what is going on first. A professional will be the biggest help.

As a total shot in the dark based on my limited observations of others swings, it's highly likely that its cause is over the top action resulting from starting the swing with the upper body. As someone who has been there, a professional set of eyes is wonderful. My swing was rebuilt from the ground up several years ago by a good instructor and friend. Got rid of my flipping and slicing, but took almost 3 years to do it.

Best of luck! If you're a willing student with a good teacher, anything is fixable.
