Pitch Out of the Rough?

Ok so playing a round and hit the ball in either the left or the right rough. Protee says it is heavy rough, but it only looks like the 2nd cut of rough. The system wants me to hit lob wedge out of the rough 90 degrees from the flag and pitch it out into the fairway. I am only 140 yards to the flag? Why pitch it out?? Is there a setting somewhere I am missing??

No setting. Sometimes the game out-thinks itself. Line yourself up to where you want to go and hit whatever club you want.
