  • Counters within protee interface not resetting

Hi, I've been running Protee successfully for going on 2 years however in the last month I've run into an issue with the ball not launching within the interface anymore.

What I've tried as thinking microsoft updates might of caused issue like in the past:

    1. uninstalled the interface through add/remove programs and deleting the files in the x86 directory along with the user data folder/files for protee interface.

    2. installed 3.17b interface

    3. re-installed camera drivers

    4. tried different usb ports

sensor is recognized and sensors show club and ball data from sensors but the counters never reset or start counting again. Audio does register hits etc. but counters all stay at 65535.

I've ordered a dedicated com port cable/card to connect to my motherboard so I can lose the usb/serial adapter and also ordered new lights just in case they aren't bright enough anymore.

also putting sensor registers ball crossing correctly as well.

Anyone have any ideas on why the counters won't reset? I've reinstalled multiple times to no avail.

    thanks for any responses.

    Hi,

Try checking in the device manager if you see a "Microsoft Serial mouse or ballpoint" that is not your mouse ( Windows sometimes sees the sensor mat as a mouse).

if so, disable it in the device manager and fully restart the ProTee Golf Interface.

I have looked for that as it has caused issues in past with sensor not being found. Will check again for it but thinking that’s not the issue since sensor is working other than timers and not taking errors.

Hawkgolf. My bad, I've spoken to our techs and they say it probably is a defective part on the board itself. Best to contact support@protee-united.com for the next possible steps
