It's amazing how good Protee develop their products. Really looking forward to this new software. It looks great!!!

Kind of crappy that the show would locate the Trackman and Protee displays right next to each other. That has to be uncomfortable at times.

I wonder that too? Is it maybe a dark brown color would work? How dark does the brown need to be? Please tell us ProTee...

Further confirmation of Pro Tee offering new software by end of 2025 - here is conversation I had with them this AM on their Chat on their website.

I had started conversation with these questions -

We had planned on using TGC 2019 in our 6 Uneekor EyeXO 2 Sims at https://www.cosmic.golf/ in Elizabethtown, KY and found out last week TGC 2019 was being delisted? What options do I have now from HP Studios and Pro Tee United

              Sanjay
Hello James Kaiser, my name is Sanjay from ProTee United.

              James Kaiser
              Great Sanjay any help appreciated.

Official Statement from ProTee United Regarding TGC 2019 for Simulators
In light of recent concerns regarding server shutdowns for TGC 2019, we want to reassure our customers and partners of the following:
TGC 2019 for Simulators is running on our own (ProTee) servers, which are entirely independent from 2K. We are not affiliated with 2K, and we currently have no intention of shutting down the TGC 2019 for Simulators servers later this year.
Network play and the 150,000+ courses currently available are hosted on our own (ProTee) servers and will remain accessible to players.
Users can review the End User License Agreement for TGC 2019 for Simulators here: https://tgcsim.com/eula.
Our commitment to supporting this platform and our customers remains unchanged. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to contact our support team.

              James Kaiser
ok - are you the support team? I'm contacting you with further questions above - are their other options or do you still sell licenses for my 6 simulators?
Another question don't you think you should solicit annual subscriptions so you can have the funds to support this massive platform of users?

              Sanjay
Sir, we will offer support to tgc19 for product lifetime and there will a new software from protee by end of this year, contact your reseller for buying tgc and we provide license keys for the activation codes if you purchase it from the resellers. (Edited)

              James Kaiser
              Thanks Sanjay - great news.

              Sanjay

Man, that is really good to hear. I love our local courses on there. Also, James, PM me sometime. I would love to join you in hicory play. (Or more likely a hybrid of steel/persimmon-wood play),

I hope there will be an option to import LiDAR courses created by users in TGC2019 into the new software, or at least the ability to design our own golf courses using LiDAR files. That’s one of the best features of TGC2019

Hey guys, I see you're still here... Chuck and Hickory James ... I'm just trying to understand why I cannot edit my previous posts here and wondering if you are experiencing the same issue? I've asked the question in the forums, but it's never answered?

Can someone please tell me if you are able to Edit your previous posts (from 2-4 years ago or before)? I used to be able to visit previous posts, and Edit them as needed when information changed. Now, it's not possible for me?

I see I can edit New Posts, but NOT older ones, and I've been posting on here for 11 years! Can someone that is a Moderator tell me please? I can edit a post that is brand new, but anything that is 2 years old, or older, there is no option to Edit the post? Why is that?

                  Thank you,

Brettster, I don't see a way to edit past postings either, so it's not just you. I bet there was an update blocking that, and it might be security-related (that would be my guess). And as far as an updated tgc2019, if anything, I wish they had an OpenAPI modeled after that of GSPro (the one that will not be spoken of :-). It would make introducing new LMs to the TGC so much quicker and effortless. For example, I would love to play with my Garmin R10, then maybe change up to the Uneekor, or the ES16.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could get that par 3 hole featured at the trade show as a playable demo

Can someone tell me ....if a person buys TGC 2019 will they be getting the new version for free or discounted.....asking for a friend.....really.. I gave a buddy a bunch of items to get a system set up....He likes TGC 2019 but is leery of it being out of date once the new software is released. He may go with GSPro until the new software is released....
