Then everything locks up. I was tied with my son (13 yo) at 15 over when it happened. The features that locked up were the alignment of putts, shots and numbers to change clubs. When you hit ESC it changed to the interface and back again. You could not get to the menu. You could change clubs with x and z but not the numbers. E worked but Q did not work properly. I was using a wired keyboard and mouse as well as the (WII type remote recommended by VanceV). They all reacted the same.

We were able to use ALT-tab to change between interface and TGC. We shut down the interface and restarted it but the problem still existed. BTW, In the middle of this there was an update for another software that came up that we closed out of.

What would you do if this happened to you? Since you cannot save a multiplayer game (yet), this is a problem.

To finish the round we had to AIM with the shots instead of moving the aimpoint on the screen. Not too bad for swings but more difficult for putting when you are not used to it.

BTW. I went Par, par to win. He went Par,Triple with about 4 putts on 18 because of the aim on sloped greens.

But wouldn't my other players lose the game. I have not been successful in getting the other players back, only me.

I play tgc in the largest windowed setting for this reason. Froze up on me when something popped up. It was embarrassing with 2 guys over from my golf club. Never thought we could exit and resume game mthunt. Thanks for the info.

Guys. I've never tried to resume with a guest. That's a good point. Maybe you can't. I'll try it.

On another note, I find TGC runs best windowed like Sim says. I had issues with it in full screen when something popped up on the PC until I started running it windowed. You can barely see the blue line around my screen.
