Dark green instead of black color for the two side panels?

I have plenty of left over green turf from the flooring and I would like to use it to cover the two side panels. The green color is darker than the bright green sensor mat from ProTee. Do you think this will be OK?

I kept to the recommendation of black as the v cam is very sensitive but I see no reason not to use the turf it should be fine. its worth a try.
